SIOUXIE is an amazing party that takes place once a month @ Tag Club, near Venice.
This party is well known for creative ideas of promoters, every time there’s a different theme.
Now they have a new project called Audiosiouxie: every month will be released a podcast mixed by a guest DJ.

The first chapter is entrusted to the able hands of SIMOFONIK (resident DJ of Siouxsie party and also known for his project GAIN ON TOP)

The Gordon Setter

02/02/12 Type: Release - Genre: electro-pop Indie

The Gordon Setter are an electro/disco/pop duo from Parma and Milan.
Bright Night is their first Ep including 4 different style tracks. Synthpop and french touch are the foundations of the sound of the Gordon Setter. In the chorus of Tropical Nights there is a funny tribute to the king and the queen of disco music: Giorgio Moroder and Donna Summer.

We are waiting for the LP. They’re very young and they have a great potential!

Shyrec Camp Vol. 4

SHYREC is a small Italian independent music label, founded in 2004.
They like and produce pop rock bands distinctively indie-featured who can be somehow highly evocative to the listeners.
Talking about their work, they say: “You may not love what we do. But for us it’s all that passes through our ears and now lies in our hearts”.

They produce high quality music, we have already talked about one of their band: Wora Wora Washington
Every Christmas, Shyrec has a gift for music lovers: Shyrec Camp.
Shyrec Camp Vol.4  is a free download compilation containing 18 songs by italian indie bands.

13/12/11 Type: Release - Genre: Electronic Indie

To You Mom: is a complex entity, a sort of nebulous formed by a human being, Luca Lorenzi (voice) and two galaxies: M110 (programming, sampler, effects) and M51 (guitars, sampler, effects). They met accidentally at the entrance of a black hole, now they have joined together in the antimatter.

“I am Ian” is their debut EP and is out for Mashhh! records, an italian indie label that has already given us 2 masterpieces as “1979″ and “The Nature” by Casa del Mirto (we haven’t even talked about their albums because we are preparing a big surprise).

“I AM IAN” is a 6 track EP which explores the life of Ian Coleman, an unlucky spaceman who leaves  Earth trying to find an answer to the big questions of existence. There is a little bit of Ian in all of us, our troubles, our fears and our doubts and even our hopes. Ian is the reflection of the lonely walk of our lives.
During these 6 songs Ian guides us into a space trip in which you could see stars dancing at synth pop melody, planets where time is marked by psychedelic rhythms and sometimes you can breath tropical atmosphere.
