Rambla Boys

Rambla Boys were born in 2007, 2 DJs and 2 VJs with party in mind as the only intent.

Their appreciated remixes for Amari, Chromeo and Franz Ferdinand and their podcasts brought them around Italy and Europe as guests or sharing the stage with international artists.

Today we’re going to introduce you their first official EP called VALDERRAMBLA (a freak tribute to a freak curly blonde colombian footballer)

Valderrambla is out now for Mozzarella recording and you can find it on juno.

This EP sounds good with the party anthem “Valderrambla”, the hypnotic deep sound of “Moranzani” and the international disco flavour of “Cocomero”.
Until now these tracks was played by Drop Out Orchestra, Justin Faust and Tim Sweetney and received the support by tens of artists of the disco house scene (take a look on soundcloud for the list of supporters)

Dj Color – Jacks On EP

15/07/11 Type: Release - Genre: Electro House

Here is the debut EP for DJ Color (Nano Records) although he’s surely not new to the scene: crowned “Best Italian turntablist of the year” after winning the Italian championship and conquering the 4th place at the ITF world finals in Prague, 2005, he already showed off what his hands could do.

Hip hop met religion with him… and house music became the natural outcome. With this EP, Color seems to have shuffled his cards as if in a game, making the perfect blend: the true expression of both his backgrounds and his broad-minded look to the future.
Makin Hot is deep and mental: a slow’n'groovy tune that already gives you an idea of the busying Summer ahead.
Plastic 1980 is an electro house sampladelic tune, a real head-nodder.
Jacks On, with its pure 80s disco vibe, puts everybody on the groove.
In the last track, a hip hop ode to Jay Dee, it seems like he’s making a vow and giving his word of honour: (I’ll be) Second To None.

It is pronounced “butirò” and it means buttery in French. The reason he has chosen this name is known only to him, but we can say for sure that France, musically speaking, is much more closer to him than Italy.

Michele, 25 year old as we speak, lived his adolescence influenced by the house music from the beginning of the new century. Very early he entered the music world, both as a dj and a producer and acclaimed his place in the new electronic scene that was being formed in Italy. His style could be defined as a mixture of electro and house highly contaminated with samples and vocals derived mostly from dance music made in the last thirty years but his sources deepen daily.

In the past two years he produced and remixed at least twenty tracks, became a resident of Trash-Dance parties, had the opportunity to play on big and small events and festivals in Italy and other countries (EXIT Festival) and performed along artists such as Alex Metric, Grum, Shinichi Osawa, Alex Gopher, Boys Noize, MSTRKRFT, The Glimmers, Das Glow, Strip Steve, Simian Mobile Disco, Danger, Guns’n'Bombs, The Bloody Beetroots, Crookers, Proxy, Subsonica etc.

His first EP is called “Beautyrocks” and is out now for So French Records. Take a listen and buy it on beatport!

CLUB FLAMINGO is a side project of SCUOLA FURANO and FUNKABIT.
During the first freezed months of 2010 two pals decided to bring back some sun into their studios. They were tired of snow, cold wind and heavy coasts so decided to write something for the summer, something coulored and shining with an old school house flavour. “Nobody” was born. Club Flamingo, a famous club of their city during the 90′s, was the right tribute to that golden era.

2 Guys in Venice

We know 2 Guys in Venice since 2008, when we have listen to their djset @ Belli Dentro party. It wasn’t only a djset ,it was an incredible show and we thought it was better than Steve Aoki’s performances.

In 2010 they remixed Riva Starr’s hit single “I was drunk”, in collaboration with Spiller. The remix was supported by Crookers, Busy P, Annie Mac and many others.

Finally is out their first EP called “Midnight run” for Nano Rec. These 3 tracks are a perfect mix of electro, disco,  funky, tech and elements of folk and b-movies soundtrack.
