Esperanza is a new project formed by 3 italian musicians: Carlo Alberto Dall’Amico (Cécile), Matteo Lavagna (Disco Drive) and Sergio Maggioni (producer and songwriter).
Is not easy to define the genre of music brought by “Esperanza” because it’s original and it’s influenced by different musical experiences of three members. In their debut album (out for Gomma record label) you can find balearic sounds, Detroit techno and glo-fi.
Now, you must listen to their songs and live this electronic dream.

To You Mom: is a complex entity, a sort of nebulous formed by a human being, Luca Lorenzi (voice) and two galaxies: M110 (programming, sampler, effects) and M51 (guitars, sampler, effects). They met accidentally at the entrance of a black hole, now they have joined together in the antimatter.
“I am Ian” is their debut EP and is out for Mashhh! records, an italian indie label that has already given us 2 masterpieces as “1979″ and “The Nature” by Casa del Mirto (we haven’t even talked about their albums because we are preparing a big surprise).
“I AM IAN” is a 6 track EP which explores the life of Ian Coleman, an unlucky spaceman who leaves Earth trying to find an answer to the big questions of existence. There is a little bit of Ian in all of us, our troubles, our fears and our doubts and even our hopes. Ian is the reflection of the lonely walk of our lives.
During these 6 songs Ian guides us into a space trip in which you could see stars dancing at synth pop melody, planets where time is marked by psychedelic rhythms and sometimes you can breath tropical atmosphere.

55DSL & VICE presents SHOW’N'TELL
29/09/11 Type: Art - Genre: Electronic
55DSL, streetwear brand of Only the Brave Group (Diesel) has always been close to young people through fresh attitude and its graphics influence , music and urban culture, presentes in collaboration with Vice: Show ‘n’ Tell.
The Show’n'Tell is a nice middle way between a round table and conversation between friends that show
each other’s favorite things, and who better to represent them.
The target? Take stock of the situation on the state of creativity today in Italy.
To do this, we turned to the people affected, selecting nine young Italian talents divided between music,
publishing, graphic design, illustration and design. Asking them to bring one of their favorite items.
Gathered around a table, and resuming their long conversation.
During the day, the boys have brought to the table a lot of interesting points.
Starting from the clash between quantity and quality within the creative industry, to arrive at new forms of Do It Yourself.
The first guest is Lorenzo Senni, italian musician, founder and factotum of the label Presto?! Records and Burgerdreams.

Watch this funny video from Deep 88. The song is extracted from the 12inch “Italo82″ by Deep88 and from the forthcoming album “Collecting Dust”. The groove is very obsessive and we are sure that all the rest of the album will be wonderful.
Some time ago we published another video from Deep 88 (feat The Huge), titled Italo 82. Now we have the remix.

WORA WORA WASHINGTON remixed by NASSAU
09/08/11 Type: Remix Song - Genre: Acid Cosmic Electronic
Wora Wora Washington meet up at the beginning of 2008 when they do feel the need to develop unborn ideas conceived in their previous bands. There are two rules: to experience the electro environment and to use no software at all. Since the beginning the band has seemed to appreciate the sounds of analog and digital synths talking to acoustic drums. Soon there would be more: two people on vocals, bass and guitar, drum machine and pad. All at once Wora Wora Washington feel so happy with the new sound they make their own. It’s new, it’s funny, overwhelming, powerful. Someone else has to label their genre: power-electro,so strong, so full of energy, attractive, geometrical, a music that you can dance to all the time. Their synth, percussive locomotive is heading for slightly techno sounds, while the bass-guitar carriage colours and fills up the train with that kind of power that is so peculiar to the band. Finally the lyrics written by the all-round artist Giulia Galvan make the whole work perfect. Giulia skilfully sets up a scenery of letters on the stage where songs are performed. Love for words comes out as a bright image in Charleston Dancers and sunny irony in Daisy. At the end of 2008 Wora Wora Washington experience for the first time a live show enjoying a great audience and crew success. Shyrec indie label shows its great enthusiasm for their project. In January 2009 they start recording the ten tracks that would be included in their Techno Lovers album. Techno Lovers is their first work that will be released in November and produced by the Venetian label. There will be ten original tracks in 32 min. that will sum up a year of work together. It will be an effective, dynamic album with no fillers that surely will go straight to the hearts of those who love rounded-off corners of golden circles.
Techno Lovers – Cooking Meringues by woraworawashington
Nassau is a side project of a thin old italian man – a so called disc jockey since 1984 – happy to return in a quiet ‘rotation per minute way’ after years of 130′s slots; a sort of homecoming to late 70es/early 80es when we driven at 120 while radio stations and early discos played everything from Greg Kihn Band to Chic, early Simple Minds together with Monsoon and Skatt Brothers, Ian Dury, F.lli La Bionda and Kiss. Nassau was heartbroken by Hacienda and Cosmic Disco, and has no relationship with fluo stuff and rush hours.
Nassau goes slowly, as when the sun goes down or the tide comes high. A mystical project where Salsa, Balearic Disco, Ambient, Tropicalism, Cosmic Music, Tablas, Trance and Afro Beat collides.
Highly recommended with Martini Dry and Gauloises @ 7 p.m.

Good news for Ergot Method! His first EP “the big boss jump” is ready and will be released on 8 August on Noiseporn records.
Ergot began his musical career as a clarinetist, fascinated by jazz culture and improvisation. After he leaves the conventional music and fascinated by the live performances of great masters such as Chemical Brothers, Daft Punk, and Prodigy, he started his electronic way at the age of 13. In 2000 born the project Ergot, which was consolidated in 2010 as Ergot Method.
Despite being a true electronic music project, the inspiration comes from artists of a different mold:
“Baudelaire, and Kandinsky and their synaesthetic skills have taught me that the purpose of art is to generate something in the viewer and not only represent it, and you must fit in the existing historical and artistic context, the culture of improvisation in jazz music taught me how to do it: not through a simple playback of the songs, but through a dynamic live performance”;
the thrust of innovative underground artists like Bloody Beetrots, Deadmau5, Wolfgang Gartner, Junkie XL, Justice, and others strongly influences his style, giving an energetic and aggressive electro ilk, especially suited to represent this era of great change.
In particular, the new economic crisis, is represented in his EP “the big boss jump”, in reference to the fateful jump from the palaces of managers in ’29. Once again the impetus for change comes from extreme situations, once again the music, more and more corrupted by commercial mechanisms, rebels and gives a voice to this change.
