Andrea & Nico are Pink Is Punk, a dj and producers duo based in Milan, working since 2005.
Each one of them having a distinctive and true to the bone personality. Since today the producing and record spinning duo Pink Is Punk released some well known italian and international remixes with a strictly electro-dance sound, one for all , the french touch man, monsieur Bob Sinclair. And now they are workin on their debut album.

GAIN ON TOP – AMANETTA MEGAMIX VOL. 4 [exclusive]

Gain on top artistically born in 2007, though Electroboogo and Simofonik, the project’s founders, left behind many years as Djs and musicians and imposed themselves inside the nu-electro. Thanks to an explosive dj-set that recklessy mixes electro, house, rock and hip hop, they “gained the top” working alongside the big names of the electro scene opening the dj sets of famous djs. In 2009, in collaboration with Jay Work and Saifam, Gain on top founded their discographic label, Tunz tunz records.

As the intro says, after six long months, Gain on top are back with a new crazy megamix. In exclusive, before everyone, this is AMANETTA MEGAMIX VOL. 4

Titan

Titan isn’t a superstar dj, but he’s part of plain people coming from Roseto. In the last summer his track “Bruxism Groove”  drew the attention of A-Track, Armand Van Helden, Mstrkrft and many others. After this success he is ready for another step. Vegamoore

Vegamoore is a project born from the minds of Francesco and Mauro, alias Vincent Vega and Thomas Moore.The project starts immediately and launched in less than a year after birth, the group treaded the stage with lot of italian and international artists. The basic idea was born when the two, camed from different musical experiences, drummer and pianist,decided to merge their ideas, attitudes and experiences in a single sound, brand new, experimental and innovative, preferring a totally live performance, played and created at the time with drum machines,synth and sampler,in continuous evolution: each set maintains the sounds’ characteristic that distinguishes them, but each part is carefully mixed, re-arranged and played empathically whit the audience around.

Space Barena [first album]

Immagine humid and misty mornings in Veneto’s lagoon, imagine to be a fisherman who recalls  “The Old Man and The Sea” described by Hemingway, imagine a deafening silence that wraps you in the early morning letting you be about to go out in the middle of the sea searching for a lucky fishing. Imagine illegal fishermen who hurtle without lighting during the night. They believe in tradition of aquatic hunting and follow it not worrying about licence.
Imagine to walk along the fish market and try to plough through the crowd pushing shoulders.
You can feel this atmosphere into their music. The spirit and patience you need in fishing is the same used to research sounds. The horde of tourists who have invaded the lagoon over the years have admitted of a melting pot that has influenced their music with electro, hip hop, funky and italo-disco trends. These places are so imbued with romantic vibes that people have inevitably  an  intense desire of real poetry and imagination. Space Barena couldn’t avoid a poetic mood. Their irreverent project involves the return to the land, the sea, the work, the spoiled environment and sex. A project that doesn’t follow current tendencies and the result is strong, noisy and poetic. It express itself at best in live performances  where are no limits about decibels.

Esh

Esh‘s career begun in 2006, when he replaced the former keyboards player in a rising pop-rock band called the Phinx. With them he won the Myspace Contest Italy 2007 and travelled all around the north of Italy playing gigs. One year later, he begun working in a young Recording Studio: Pianozero. So he spent his time between live shows and life in studio, recording and learning. In October 2007 Esh started another music project called The AGE Riøtt. This trio was fascinated by the brand new electro movement that was growing all across Europe. A new fresh sound that these guys followed immediately: crunchy synths, huge kicks, hip hop vocals. In October 2008 Esh walked out from the Phinx, in order to concentrate his attentions on his electro trio, that became a duo at the beginning of 2009 and turned its name into Pitch2Decide. Their tracks were pubblished on many blogs, such as Data Sapiens and StockholmBeatConnection and they played across Italy: from Catania to Venice, from Rome to Treviso, from Bologna to Milan. He playied with artists such as Mstrkrft, Shitdisco, Punks Jump Up, Annah Holland, Subsonica. Now Esh is involved in a brand new indie electro trio called Plexi Nation formed by him, an acid bassman and a reggae/dub singer. Esh keeps on producing also on his own; he’s now working on a few rmxs and on his first Ep called: “Please, have a synth”

Elektropusher

Who knows Elektropusher says he makes filthy basslines, hard kicks and cutted lyrics, sometimes almost beyond recognition. Every track brings power, often attended by a great base package, hard to listen and sit still. He started djing when he was about 13, shocked by the electronic scene in Italy wich influenced him till being introduced into new styles, such as the many electro, indie, techno genres.

He definetly started producing in 2007, appreciated by the famous lady dj Ninfa who manages Irma Records. Under the italian house label he started remixing producers like Big Mojo, Submantra, Zone, until being part of Hypotron, electronic sublabel also managed by Ninfa, wich includes in its roster bad guys like Supabeatz, Keith, Brabe, Robert Boogert, DMT Synth and many other rockers around the world (added to the crew, as remixers, there were also Bloody Beetroots, Gigi Barocco and 3 Is a Crowd). In his hometown, he has played gigs with Blatta & Inesha, His Majesty Andre, Doc Trashz, Blockhead.
